WinnCompanies is seeking a motivated Property Support Specialist to join our team at Westridge at Hilltop Apartments, a 480-unit community located in Richmond, CA.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing support in the performance of various administrative and clerical duties for assigned properties in the portfolio.

The pay range for this role is $37.00-$40.00 per hour dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all business in accordance with the Company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and all other laws pertaining to property management.
  • Support WinnSTART/STOP processes, including: property setup tasks, vendor coordination, and onboarding support to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Contributing to documentation and analysis of findings to support operational readiness.
  • Assist with correspondence to/from CHA, IHDA, or HUD as needed.
  • Assist in monitoring the recertification process to ensure support of team members that are working to complete recertifications in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate daily timekeeping record via our Paycom time keeping system.
  • When meeting with residents, document their file with any concerns and complaints that could become a future issue for the Management Office.
  • Generate and close work orders, as needed.
  • Report any physical concerns to manager when walking around the property.
  • Greet residents either by phone or in person, in a professional and courteous manner, and in line with Habitat’s Core Values.
  • Assist assigned property with a variety of clerical functions such as, but not limited to, data entry, filing, answering phones, handling mail, delivering notices, meeting with residents, collecting rent etc.
  • Will regularly change work locations day to day. Rarely will be required to change locations during the same workday.
  • Creates new files, labels, and maintains files accordingly, as needed.
  • Address or direct resident inquires, and other requests as required.
  • Maintain a clean work area, free of debris or safety hazards.
  • Perform all functions in accordance with operation guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in administrative and / or general accounting areas.
  • 2+ years of Property Management experience or comparable administrative experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and friendly in a business environment (both verbally and written).
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Must have the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Must possess strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends as needed.
  • Assist with requests from Regional Office, as necessary.
  • Ability to complete required training or obtain role specific certifications, as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience within affordable housing industry is preferred.

Salary will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
