Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Proposals Engineer – Sales who will act as the bridge between our sales, design, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, developing solution-oriented proposals, and driving the technical-commercial proposal lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand technical cleaning/surface treatment requirements.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop customized equipment solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, cost estimations, and detailed specifications.
• Interpret RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents accurately.
• Present proposals and solutions to clients in a clear, value-driven manner.
• Support sales team in technical discussions, site visits, and customer meetings.
• Maintain proposal database, costing sheets, and standard documents.
• Coordinate internal review and approval processes for proposals.
• Support negotiations and order finalization in alignment with company goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• 2–5 years of experience in proposal engineering, technical sales, or application engineering for capital equipment (preferably in customized systems).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industrial automation, or ultrasonic/parts cleaning processes (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design, production, and sales teams.
• Strong analytical and costing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
