Proposal Engineer

• Going through various tender search mediums (e.g., PPRA, NTDC, K-Electric, and e-Newspapers, etc.) to find relevant business opportunities in the field of Grid Stations, Transmission Lines, Electrification, etc.
• Liaison with Vendors for the study scope of work, or negotiation purposes.
• Understand the client’s requirement in detail and create a technical compliance sheet & BOQ of every item as per the Tender/Inquiry documents. Outline the specifications of the project after thoroughly reviewing the inquiry/tender documents.
• Site survey, Study tender, scope of work, and draft Prebid queries
• Hunt, Prepare, and submit Pre-Qualification and Expression of Interest Documents
• Conduct internal meetings with Commercial, Logistics, Civil, Project, and Planning Department teams regarding Prebid queries, pertaining to relevant tenders.
• Quantifying the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Transmission Lines, Grid Stations, Electrification, and other Projects, and coordinating with the project department in this regard
• Prepare and Float Request for Quotations (RFQ) to relevant vendors for tender purposes
• Vendor Hunting for items for RFQ and procurement purposes
• Prepare cost comparison report and final project cost estimation
• Collaborating with client representatives and engineers for specific tenders.
• Prepare essential documentation for techno-commercial bid
• After the award of projects, monitoring and controlling the strategic procurement process for projects (Foreign Currency Component Only)
• Maintaining vendor contact list, customer list, Tender log status, and project reference list, year-wise record keeping of all offers and tenders.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a well-reputed University.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in the same field
• PEC Certified
