Protection Engineer – GE Relays

We are seeking an experienced Protection Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in GE protection relays to support configuration, testing, and commissioning activities for projects in Oil & Gas / industrial facilities in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and commission GE make protection relays
• Perform protection testing using GE Enervista software
• Support site activities including FAT, SAT, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot protection and control system issues
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
• Coordinate with engineering and site teams during execution

Must-Have Experience

• Hands-on experience with GE protection relays
• Strong working knowledge of GE Enervista software
• Proven experience in protection testing & commissioning
• Background in Oil & Gas or industrial plants

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in protection engineering
• Candidates available immediately or on short notice are highly preferred
