We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

This role involves testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and protection systems used in substations, switchgear, transformers, and industrial power networks — both in India and abroad.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute testing and commissioning of protection relays, switchgear panels, transformers, and control systems.
• Perform primary and secondary injection relay testing using advanced test kits (OMICRON, Megger, ISA, etc.).
• Carry out specialized tests including Tan Delta, Contact Resistance Measurement (CRM), Breaker Timing, CT/PT testing, and HV/LV/HT panel verification.
• Analyze and optimize relay coordination, logic, and protection settings as per design requirements.
• Prepare and review detailed test reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during commissioning and site operations.
• Collaborate with project and field teams to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards during all testing activities.

Job Skill Requirements

1. Education: Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineers, Instrumentation, or Electronics & Telecommunication (ETC).

2. Experience: Freshers with a strong technical background or minimum 1 year of experience in testing & commissioning, relay testing, or power system protection.

3. Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively — up to 75% of the time — for site work within Pan India.

4. Domain Exposure: Preference for candidates with experience or interest in substation testing, relay coordination, or electrical commissioning projects.

5. Gender Requirement: Only male candidates are eligible for this position.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineer / Electronics / Instrumentation / Power Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with OMICRON, Megger, ISA, SCOPE, or Crest testing kits.
• Familiarity with Tan Delta, CRM, Breaker Timing, CT/PT, HV/LV Testing.
• Strong understanding of relay protection schemes and power system components.
• Knowledge of protection logic, coordination, and panel wiring diagrams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Relay Testing Engineers, relay coordination, or HV panel testing.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and system protection standards.
• Ability to handle multiple testing projects efficiently under tight schedules.
