Job Title: PSX Trader/ Equity Trader

Job Type: Full Time

Timings: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Description:

The Trader will execute buy and sell orders for securities listed on PSX, manage trading portfolios, analyze market trends, and manage risk while ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm policies. The ultimate goal is profitable trading and contributing to the brokerage / trading desk’s performance.

Responsibilities:

• Execute trade orders on the PSX with accuracy and in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Interact with clients regarding trade activities, providing assistance and ensuring smooth transaction execution.
• Conduct research and analysis on active and potential shares to identify profitable trading opportunities.
• Maintaining client relationships and providing market updates.
• Coordinating with the settlement and back-office teams for trade confirmations and reconciliations.
• Assisting in the preparation of market reports or investment insights for internal and client use.
• Monitor and analyze market developments: charts/technical indicators, corporate announcements, economic / political events that impact PSX stocks.
• Stay up to date with regulatory framework (e.g., Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) rules, PSX rules), trading platforms, market infrastructure.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management from time to time to support overall trading operations.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required in a relevant field.

Education: Must have Bachelors or Masters in Finance or any other relevant field.

Knowledge of PSX’s infrastructure, settlement processes, clearing workflows in Pakistan.

Diplomas or certifications in financial markets, investment analysis or any other relevant industry can be a plus point.

Job Benefits:

· Salary: 50,000 - 70,000 (Based on experience) plus Commissions.
