Michigan Progressive Health is dedicated to being Michigan’s most respected provider of psychedelic therapies. Our multi-disciplinary team is educated in integrative psychiatry, trauma informed care and ketamine assisted psychotherapy. We are nationally known leaders and educators in the field. As one of the first ketamine providers in Michigan, the patient is at the center of all we do. MPH is looking to expand our care team with an experienced Advanced Practice Provider who wants to be part of a community of practitioners whose mission is to provide quality mental health care experiences through patient-centered care. The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, the ability to manage work at a fast-paced start-up company, and work extremely well as part of a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Spravato and IV ketamine treatment sessions
  • Medication management
  • Documentation of patient visits
  • Communication with patients via email and patient portal
  • Psychosocial support to patients when in need
  • Attend in-services, conferences, and training seminars and participate in Team and all staff meetings.

Logistics:

  • Working Hours: 16-32 hours per week (negotiable). 32 hours a week is considered full time.
  • Location: Both Our Royal Oak and Ann Arbor offices
  • Supervision: Megan Oxley, MD will be your immediate supervisor.
  • Training: Dr. Oxley will provide you with supervision for the first three months of employment.

Qualifications:

  • Personal:
  • Display openness, desire to learn, and strong clinical skills including collaborative, flexible, patient-centered approaches to treatment
  • Enjoy collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Education / Training:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies degree
  • 40+ hours of training in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy OR integrative psychiatry preferred, will provide training if well qualified candidate
  • Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in Behavioral Health preferred OR
  • Minimum of 2+ years in Emergency Medicine preferred
  • Certification, Licensure, Registration:
  • State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license required
  • State and Federal controlled substance licenses
  • BCLS and ALCS Certified
  • For Nurse Practitioners: Psychiatric Mental Health certification (PMHNP)
  • For Physician Assistants: Psychiatric practice certification preferred

Compensation:

  • Compensation: $68.00-$78.00/hr to start (based on experience). Raise will be considered after 3-month probationary period and at the one year mark of employment.

  • Educational Expense Fund - MPH provides $1000.00 (or more) a year towards educational activities related to progressive mental health treatment
  • MPH will cover all medical and business malpractice insurance
  • Full time employees are eligible for PTO (12 days per year) and Health/Vision and Dental insurance. Please note organizations that provide the IRA or insurance may change at any time.
  • Well qualified candidates may be considered for a moving stipend
