Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy (including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy), and other behavioral health interventions.
- Manage medication regimens responsibly, ensuring safe prescribing practices in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Provide crisis management support for patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma-related conditions such as PTSD.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex psychiatric needs.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver mental health counseling and psychiatric services efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records, document intake assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes using appropriate medical terminology.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in psychiatry, including addiction counseling and inpatient behavioral health strategies.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with active licensure as a Psychiatrist.
- Post-residency experience in psychiatry with a focus on pediatric psychiatry, geriatrics, or behavioral health preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychiatric diagnosis, diagnostic evaluation, and psychopharmacology.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatric populations in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Proficiency in medical documentation systems while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards.
- Strong skills in crisis management and patient assessment during high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments.
- Familiarity with telehealth technology platforms for remote patient care delivery is highly desirable.

Pay: $221,000.00 - $285,000.00 per year
