Psychiatry Private Practice: PMHNP or MD

Mending Mental Health is expanding and seeking a psychiatric provider who values both clinical independence and strong operational support.

Providers with us maintain full clinical autonomy over their patient panel, treatment decisions, and schedules while being supported by a robust administrative and operational infrastructure.

Our structure is designed to remove the operational work that typically falls on clinicians in private practice. At Mending MH, each part of the practice is managed by people who specialize in that work. This allows providers to build the schedule and caseload they want, focus their professional time on clinical work, and maintain the flexibility that draws many clinicians to independent practice in the first place.

The operational share of our model supports the systems that make this possible, so clinicians are not spending their evenings on billing, phone calls, paperwork, prior authorizations, or other administrative demands.

Position Highlights

• Full clinical autonomy over patient panel and treatment decisions
• Independent contractor split of 65/35 on collected revenue
• Typical take-home $150–$300 per clinical hour, depending on scheduling and payer mix
• Hybrid practice based in Roseville, MN
• Providers build and manage their own schedules
• Strong referral base with most panels reaching stability within 60–90 days
• Internal team manages prior authorizations and pharmacy coordination
• Billing infrastructure with very low accounts receivable (99%+ paid claims)
• Transparent revenue reporting every two weeks
• Athena EHR with streamlined workflows

Requirements

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care
• Prescribe medications, including controlled medications when clinically appropriate
• Complete documentation within 1–2 days of appointments
• Monitor the EHR inbox business days for patient messages and refill requests
• Maintain reliability and professionalism with scheduled appointments
• Communicate effectively and efficiently via email with internal team members
