HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant program/department requirements, including and not limited to adhering to all record-keeping and reporting requirements.
  • Model and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members and facilitate development of a positive staff support network.
  • Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations served.
  • Submit all necessary and required paperwork for referral, collaboration and/or communication with funders, community partners and internal department collaboration
  • Recruit, train, mentor, coach and support growth of staff; effectively manage individual and team performance
  • Clearly, concisely, and respectfully set and communicate expectations for staff in alignment with program objectives and required outcomes, establish appropriate deadlines and performance metrics, assign tasks and motivate staff to achieve goals, monitor progress and adjust strategy as needed
  • Perform administrative management tasks including and not limited to scheduling, and expense management, reporting, and ensuring compliance with LCSNW and applicable external agency/partner requirements
  • Abide and encourage staff to follow humanitarian principles and accountability to the communities we serve
  • Other duties as assigned.
HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:
  • Two (2) years of related experience in a Mental Health field (Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, Psychology etc)
  • Master’s in Mental Health field
  • Agency Affiliated Counselor in the state of Washington, cleared through local, state and or federal agencies to work with vulnerable populations is required upon start. MHP designation requires either registration as a licensed or an associate licensed mental health provider i.e. (LICSWA, LICSW, LMHCA, LMHC, LMFTA or LMT, Psychologist) or 2 years of experience as a mental health professional working under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Intermediate mastery of business applications and productivity suites
  • Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle
  • Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
  • Successfully completes tasks in a moderately noisy environment
  • Interacts with others and performs tasks in-person and through the use of technology, with moderate periods of stationary activity and moderate periods of increased physical activity including and not limited to (most common physical activities for the job)
  • Moves equipment/materials weighing up to 10 pounds
  • May work in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, school-based settings and faith-based settings such as churches
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program
