POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists Principal Investigator(s) in administering and scoring neuropsychological tests, collecting data, conducting preliminary statistical analyses in coordination with statistical team.

Conducts and scores neuropsychological assessments in compliance with study protocols;

Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection;

Review, and audit data for accuracy; follow up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies;

Works with statistical team to perform analyses;

Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development;

Manages research databases using Excel, and other statistical or data management programs;
-
Organizes and prepares grant-related documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions. May write reports to present at meeting;

Demonstrates willingness to learn phlebotomy techniques necessary to fulfill project needs;

Perform other related duties as assigned; and,

May require off-campus site visits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree is required. Coursework in Psychology preferred

Major in Neuroscience is preferred
-
Experience of working in a Neuroscience Laboratory preferred

Experience with software programs such as excel, SSPS, and matlab preferred

Experience working with children preferred

Excellent organizational, oral, written and analytical communications skills; strong database management and clear understanding of clinical and research databases

Strong project management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows and Mac operating systems
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract. Hiring Rate: 28.79 Post Probationary Rate: 29.32 Job Rate: 30.54 Maximum Salary Range: USD $28.79/Hr.
