Full-Time | W2 | In-Office (5 Days/Week)

$9,000–$13,000 per month (Based on Client Load)

Horizon America, Inc. is seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychotherapist – Life Coach to join our growing mental health team in Seal Beach. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed clinician looking to grow their practice within a structured, executive-style outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations (ICD-9/ICD-10)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy (CBT, psychodynamic, behavioral modalities)
• Deliver crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
• Maintain accurate documentation and CPT coding for billing
• Provide telehealth services when appropriate
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Support clients in mindset development, accountability, relationship dynamics, and performance optimization

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution
• Active California license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist)
• Active NPI number required
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical psychotherapy experience preferred
• Experience with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical documentation
• Strong background in psychotherapy and case management
• Comfortable working full-time in-office
• Professional presence suited for high-functioning/executive clientele
• Experience integrating therapy with life coaching, executive coaching, or goal-based performance work
• Strong skills in accountability coaching, behavioral change strategies, and solution-focused approaches
• Ability to work with high-functioning professionals, entrepreneurs, and executive clientele
• Professional presence, strong boundaries, and high emotional intelligence
