Psychotherapist

Al Taie Center for Laparoscopic & Obesity Surgery in UAE is searching for PSYCHOTHERAPIST, to be part of our MULTI DISCIPLINARY TEAM.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Psychotherapist located in Abu Dhabi. The Psychotherapist will provide counseling and mental health support, conduct individual and group therapy sessions, and develop tailored treatment plans to meet the diverse needs of clients. The role involves addressing a variety of psychological challenges, including mental health concerns and relationship counseling, with sensitivity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Psychology and understanding of Mental Health principles and practices
• Experience in Counseling and expertise in Relationship Counseling
• Knowledge and understanding of Medicine with relevance to mental health treatment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with clients
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• Licensure or certification as a psychotherapist or related professional credential
• Experience working with a diverse population, especially in addressing obesity-related psychological concerns, is an advantage
• with DOH / DHA license entitled
• with 4 to 6 years UAE experience as a Psychotherapist
• Arabic Speaker is a plus.

• Can work either Part time/Full time
• With Own Visa / Golden Visa
