PT, Global Learning Associate

General Function

Supports the Center for Global Engagement by promoting and overseeing study abroad and global engagement program processes. Efficiently manage the Center for Global Engagement front office by serving as liaison between students, faculty, staff and the international community.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supports Center for Global Engagement Assistant Director in overseeing office processes.

2. Assists in coordinating Center for Global Engagement programs and events.

  • Promote existing programs
  • Manage application and student payment processes
  • Provide customer service for potential and current study abroad participants and leaders
  • Verify submission of required forms for all programs abroad according to CPCC procedures.
  • Data management

3. Supports Assistant Director in arranging, preparing, conducting pre-departure orientation meetings.

4. Maintains Center for Global Engagement website, Share Point site, and Campus Community site.

5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

  • Requires High School diploma or GED and vocational or business training beyond high school.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphics.
  • Two years office experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of education abroad experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
