Public Area Attendant-Part Time

Just steps away from the Silos and minutes from Baylor University, the AC Hotel Waco Downtown features 182 guestrooms, approximately 15,000 sq. ft. of Meeting & Event space. We are searching for a dynamic hospitality professional to join our team.

Duties

- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and elevators
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows and mirrors
- Restock supplies in restrooms and public areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Requirement

- Previous experience in floor care, commercial cleaning, or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
