Public Attendant

Hotel Management Group, LLC is seeking a public attendant at our Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Surprise AZ !

The hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Hotel Management Group. The franchise controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices.

Job Summary

The public Attendant plays a key role in supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, common areas, and pool.

Assist with removal of trash and dirty linens from guest rooms and carts

Help set up or break down meeting room for special requests or events

Respond promptly to guest or team requests

Follow all state, county and brand safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Assist guests with needs and interact with them while in common areas

Help with laundry when needed

Help with putting away orders

Keep the grounds picked up and clean

Must be able to operate a carpet cleaner and power washer

Qualifications

Be able to communicate in English both verbally and written.

Must have a flexible schedule to meet hotel demand. This includes weekends and holidays. We try to make it fair to all associates by alternating weekends and holidays so that everyone enjoys time with their family.

Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day and lift, pull, push, and move a minimum of 50 pounds. Reach to high areas and bend down to look under furniture.

Be able to work independently and efficiently.

Have a positive, fun, and energetic personality!

Must be reliable.
