Job Summary:

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will manage all government relations, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance in the UAE. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and UAE government authorities, ensuring timely processing of visas, permits, trade licenses, and other official documents. This role requires deep knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and procedures, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively to support the operational needs of No10 Lounge.

Key Responsibilities:

Government & Legal Liaison:

• Manage all interactions with UAE government authorities, including the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE), General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), and other relevant departments.
• Submit and follow up on visas, work permits, labor cards, and other employee-related documentation.
• Ensure all trade licenses, permits, and company registrations are compliant and up-to-date.
• Maintain knowledge of UAE federal and local regulations affecting hospitality and F&B operations.

Employee & HR Support:

• Assist with visa applications, renewals, and cancellations for employees.
• Coordinate with HR on labor contract registration and employee file documentation.
• Keep accurate records of all PRO-related documentation for audits and inspections.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure timely renewals of all legal documents, licenses, and approvals.
• Monitor changes in UAE laws, labor regulations, and immigration policies, advising management on implications.
• Prepare reports and updates for management regarding government approvals, employee visas, and licenses.

Communication & Coordination:

• Liaise with relevant authorities to resolve any legal, labor, or government-related issues.
• Serve as the point of contact for government audits, inspections, and inquiries.
• Work closely with the operations and HR teams to ensure smooth workflow and compliance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years as a PRO in the UAE, preferably in hospitality, F&B, or lifestyle brands.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of UAE labor law, immigration procedures, and government protocols
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented and highly proactive
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and government e-services portals (e.g., MOHRE, GDRFA, Dubai Economy portals)

Other Qualifications:

• UAE experience is mandatory
• Ability to handle sensitive documents confidentially
• Strong relationship-building skills with government departments

Work Environment:

• Office-based work in Dubai with occasional visits to government offices.
• May require extended hours to meet deadlines for visa, license, or permit renewals.
