Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related processes, documentation, and liaison work for a large-scale EPC oil & gas or construction workforce in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have proven experience handling 5,000+ employees, particularly with visa processing, medicals, insurance, CICPA registration, and other regulatory compliance tasks.

The candidate must be familiar with UAE labour and immigration procedures and be capable of visiting government offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to efficiently resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all employee visa processing (new, renewal, cancellation) and residency permits
  • Coordinate with CICPA for security pass registrations and renewals
  • Manage insurance, Emirates ID, medical test, and related documentation for employees
  • Liaise with government bodies (e.g., MOHRE, GDRFA, CICPA, ICA, DHA, Immigration, Police, etc.)
  • Support labour law compliance and advise management on UAE regulations
  • Submit and follow up on applications and renewals for licenses and other permits
  • Maintain a systematic and up-to-date filing system of employee documents and government transactions
  • Visit relevant government departments in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to resolve issues as needed
  • Coordinate with HR/Admin for timely processing of onboarding/offboarding documentation
  • Provide timely reporting and updates on government transactions and status

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a PRO in EPC, oil & gas, construction, or engineering sectors
  • Experience managing government relations for a large workforce (5000+ employees)
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labour, immigration, and visa laws
  • Able to travel to government offices across Abu Dhabi and Dubai
  • Excellent Arabic & English communication (spoken & written)
  • Must hold a valid UAE driving license
