Public Relations and Communication Senior Associate

Job purpose:

The role holder is responsible to assist in the development and execution of communication strategies that effectively convey the organization's messages to various stakeholders. This role supports the creation and dissemination of content, manages media relations, and ensures consistent and positive public perception of the organization. Building brand awareness by effective media coverage ensures transparency and maximum alignment to the core values of Awqaf Investments and ensure that the organization’s message is clearly and consistently conveyed across all platforms.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in establishing a strategy and framework to govern all aspects of AIC communications.
• Manages the corporate communication strategy including communication policies, procedures, and planning processes.
• Develops and executes the corporate annual communication plan including annual reports, external corporate events, and conferences.
• Leads the corporate communications and brand-building initiatives including media interaction, AIC intranet webpages, and corporate social media accounts such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
• Ensure AIC publications and public relations are aligned and effective in achieving AIC’s goals.
• Monitor, analyze and report PR results of Awqaf Investments on a quarterly basis.
• Create compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media updates and ensure that all content aligns with the organization’s brand voice and messaging.
• Prepare reports on media coverage, social media performance, and other relevant metrics.
• Ensure that all communication materials are consistent with the organization’s brand guidelines.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as directed.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations / Marketing or any other related field
• From 3 to 6 years of experience
• Professional certificates in Public Relation & Communication such as Strategic Communication Management Professional, Certificate in Principles of Public Relations are preferred.
