As a
public relations representative on the Communications team, you’ll promote and protect Progressive’s brand and reputation. In this role, you’ll support the development of communication strategies and work with various collaborators and business partners. You’ll also help implement plans for proactive and reactive public relations efforts to meet business objectives. You’ll work closely with the internal team, triaging and assigning media inquiries, content reviews, and vetting requests to senior members of the public relations teams for their review and handling.

Must-have qualifications-
High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of three years of professional experience in Communications (i.e. Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising)

{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications or related field (i.e. Public Relations/Communications, Journalism or Marketing)
Preferred skills-
Understanding of public relations principles and media relations with a strong interest in brand and reputation management.

Experience writing or assisting with the development of press releases, statements, and/or responses.

Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences (media, customers, consumers, employees).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while also working independently at times.
Compensation-
$54,100 - $81,700/year depending on position level and experience

Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16%- 24% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
