Pulmonologist- Medical Director- Post Acute Care

Must Reside in Michigan (Detroit/Lansing Area)

CardioRenal Vision is a national leader in post-acute Cardiology, Pulmonology and Nephrology clinical care. We have over 150 providers in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, Oregon, Utah, and Washington State., where we provide care to Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care and assisted living residents. We are currently looking for a Pulmonology Medical Director who is located in Michigan to oversee our Advanced Practice Clinicians and serve as a clinical ambassador to our Michigan facilities. This is a Part Time position

Duties and Responsibilities:

Facility Visits – Physician is expected to visit each facility once per month or as needed

Clinical and Education

  • Meet once monthly with each Advanced Practice Clinician Supervised.
  • Review and sign 5 notes per week for each Advanced Practice Clinician Supervised.
  • Lead educational presentations at skilled nursing facilities, training nursing staff on cardiac related topics.
  • Lead educational presentations delivered to CRV Advanced Practice Clinicians.
  • Develop best practice care models and adequately train supervised Advanced Practice Clinicians.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests performed by Advanced Practice Clinicians.
  • Communicate with families and professionals involved in patient care.

Marketing

  • Physician should be available for in-person and zoom meeting calls to meet with potential new facilities and describe our clinical services in detail.
  • Create relationships with local hospitals and hospital systems to improve continuity of care and care transitions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
