Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pump Proposal Manager with strong expertise in centrifugal pump selection, proposal preparation, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate must have a solid background working with pump manufacturing companies or their authorized dealers, with hands-on experience in handling techno-commercial proposals for industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive techno-commercial proposals for centrifugal pump projects.
• Select appropriate centrifugal pumps based on client requirements, applications, and site conditions.
• Prepare complete technical documentation, including datasheets, QAP, GA drawings coordination, compliance statements, and sizing sheets.
• Work closely with the sales team to interpret customer specifications and provide optimal pump solutions.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, and BOQs; identify deviations and prepare clarifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, and production teams for obtaining technical details, costings, and lead times.
• Maintain updated product knowledge on pump ranges, performance curves, materials of construction, and industry standards.
• Support negotiation with clients on technical matters and provide pre-sales technical assistance.
• Ensure proposal accuracy, timely submissions, and adherence to company pricing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in a pump manufacturing company or its dealerships.
• Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps, pump hydraulics, performance curves, and pump selection software/tools.
• Proven experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals for industrial or municipal projects.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ANSI, ISO, etc., is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
