Position Overview

As a Purchase Analyst you will be at the forefront of ensuring the competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of our procurement process. Working closely with various stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments, your primary responsibility will be to swiftly identify and secure the best prices for aircraft parts through effective negotiation, market analysis, and supplier relationship management.

This position will include the following tasks:

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions components via communication with internal and external sources and suppliers
  • Interface with Sales team or other departments on critical problems
  • Create and issue internal orders and other applicable documents to meet parts and materials requirements
  • Determine priority items to ensure parts delivered on time and are readily accessible
  • Identify alternate and superseded part numbers

Responsible for properly receiving, binning, issuing, and shipping materials in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for coordinating the delivery of materials to various locations.
  • Confirm invoice accuracy
  • Monitor deliveries: Regularly track parts status and communicate with vendor on parts status as needed; Update Repair Planner accordingly
  • Receive and check in parts: Receive and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders and ensure all parts are placed and accounted for on the parts cart
  • Inspect delivered parts for quality: Inspect parts for damage upon delivery within two hours of expected drop off
  • Return incorrect parts: Return incorrect parts immediately to the vendor
  • Perform other specific duties as assigned.

This role is a full-time position based in Fort Lauderdale.

Monday through Friday: 8:00am to 4:00 pm

Required qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • English (Required) and Portuguese (Required) speaker
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Capable and willing to operate hand trucks which will be used for moving heavy objects up to 75 pounds
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel – advanced

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments.
  • Capable of coordinating multiple requests in an organized and urgent manner.
  • A background in business administration, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience
  • 1-year experience in inventory planning and procurement
