Job Description of a Purchase and Dispatch Coordinator
Purchase:
- Raising Purchase Orders (POs) after discussing with the management
- Following up on POs
- Coordinating with suppliers until the material is received
- Coordinating with transporters for receipt of material
- Printing and filing of POs and purchase bills
- Negotiating prices with the supplier and tracking latest prices
- Tracking stock levels and maintaining minimum inventory levels for all products
- Preparing a schedule of stock inwards and coordinating with the factory
- Receiving the COAs from the supplier and updating the details for each batch
Dispatch:
- Coordinating with the factory regarding the dispatch of material
- Coordinating and updating the customer regarding materials dispatched
- Tracking and maintaining a record of all dispatches made
- Collecting and comparing rates from different transporters, negotiating rates and finalizing the transporter to make the dispatch
- Coordinating with the transporter and collecting LRs
- Entering the LR details in Tally and preparing the final invoice copy
- Sharing final invoice copy, LR copy and Batch COA with the customer
- Printing and filing of all invoices
- Preparing a schedule of stock outwards and coordinating with factory
- Booking Porters and sharing the details with the customer
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
