Job Role: Purchase Incharge – Electronic ComponentsPosition Overview
The Purchase Incharge is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring electronic components, materials, and accessories required for production, R&D, and service operations. The role ensures timely availability of quality components at competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers of electronic components.
- Source critical components like ICs, semiconductors, passives, connectors, sensors, and PCBs.
- Develop alternate sources to avoid supply chain disruptions.
- Negotiation & Cost Control
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor market trends and fluctuations in component pricing.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Coordinate with stores/warehouse for stock monitoring and reorder levels.
- Ensure minimum lead time for critical components.
- Maintain balance between excess stock and shortages.
- Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Ensure vendors comply with company’s quality and procurement standards.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and contracts.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC standards, RoHS, and environmental requirements when applicable.
- Cross-Department Coordination
- Work closely with R&D, Production, and QA teams to understand component requirements.
- Support engineering team with alternate or replacement components when needed.
- Resolve supply-related issues impacting production schedules.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electronic components (active, passive, electromechanical, and PCB assemblies).
- Vendor negotiation and relationship management.
- Cost analysis and budgeting.
- ERP/MRP systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent).
- Documentation and compliance management.
- Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. FRESHER OR 1 years of experience in purchase/procurement of electronic components.
- Exposure to global suppliers/distributors (e.g., Mouser, Digi-Key, RS, Element14) preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
