Purchase Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to manage procurement of materials, components, and services for our operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers.
• Request quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Verify quality and compliance with engineering/production requirements.
• Maintain vendor database and procurement records.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and inventory control.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing (manufacturing preferred).
• Good knowledge of materials, components, and engineering specifications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office/ERP systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
