A Purchase Engineer manages sourcing, negotiating, and buying technical materials, equipment, and services, blending engineering knowledge with supply chain skills to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery for projects, involving supplier evaluation, contract management, cross-functional collaboration (engineering/production), and risk mitigation. Key duties include identifying suppliers, negotiating terms, monitoring performance, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and company standards.
