Purchase Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure 100% material availability for assembly as per production plan.
• Convert PR to PO within 1 working day of vendor finalization.
• Monitor and maintain vendor quality & delivery rating .
• Achieve annual cost reduction targets from existing vendors.
• Prepare and compare cost sheets; control RFQ variation within budgeted costing.
• Complete costing activities within 1 week TAT.
• Develop and onboard new vendors for outsourcing, bought-out parts, and services.
• Maintain procurement MIS reports (PR-PO, VQR/VDR, Cost Sheets, Vendor Development).

Requirements:

• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years experience in procurement within tool room / die & mold / precision manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of manufacturing drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in vendor negotiation and cost analysis.
• SAP knowledge preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
