Purchase Engineer (Electrical)

• Industry Exposure : Rotting Equipment, Pumps or Heavy Machinery

• CTC bracket : Rs. 03 to 04 LPA

Primary Job Responsibilities

1. Good knowledge of bought out parts like Electric Motors, coupling, instrumentation, fasteners etc. (Basically, Required for pump assembly & unitization)

2. Should possess sound technical knowledge of Motors, their types, safety aspects etc.

3. Good knowledge of Instrumentation like Temperature Indicator (RTD/PT 100), Shaft Power Monitor, Leak detector, Pressure Gauge, Transmitter etc. (This is not must however as this is very specific)

4. Must be able to read and understand Customer specifications related to Motors & instruments and prepare Technical summery report that shall be used for procurement.

5. Support to Planning, QA, Production and Stores department regarding receipt of material.

6. Procuring material required for Pump order from suppliers as per BOM

7. Ensuring receipt of material within target dates received from Planning

8. Co-ordination with Planning and QA regarding delivery and quality issues of Raw material

9. Time to time supplier visit.

10. Preparation of MIS.

11. Following & Implementation of ISO Practices in purchasing function

12. Facing internal audit and its Compliances.

13. Updating Rollover plan, Critical & hypercritical part list with raw material availability status on time to planning dept.

14. Should have fare knowledge of Imports.

15. Updating raw material availability status for prototype parts on weekly basis & giving timely intimation to all concerned persons after

dispatch of the same from supplier.

16. Co-ordination with Sales & Marketing, QA and Production team for prototype of machining at our end and feedback to supplier.

17. Ensuring fulfilment of Quality objectives.
