Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Koramangala retail space and office. The Purschase Executivewill be responsible for managing the handling the buying of pots, planters, plants and garden accessories. The role involves finding suppliers, negotiating prices, managing purchase orders, and ensuring the right stock is available at the right time. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that the showroom runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting the sales team and ensuring accurate operations records.

Responsibilities:

  • Find and evaluate local and international suppliers. Negotiate prices, quality, and delivery terms with vendors.
  • Monitor landed costs, GST, transport charges, and margins to ensure profitability.
  • Prepare and maintain the product catalogue with accurate details
  • Check purchase price variations between supplier bills and purchase orders, and update correct prices in the system
  • Update and review HSN codes and product descriptions in ERP to ensure compliance with GST and accurate classification.
  • Update stock levels on the online platform regularly to ensure correct availability status.
  • Manage vendor returns for defective/short-supplied goods and follow up for replacements or credit notes.
  • Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per stock requirements. Work with the Sales team to plan stock based on demand.
  • Coordinate imports (if needed) with shipping agents and customs.
  • Maintain records of suppliers, prices, and purchase orders.
  • Conduct the weekly, monthly and Quarterly Stock Audits with the warehouse team to check physical vs. system stock.
  • Prepare MIS reports on purchases, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of sales trends and seasonal demand.
  • Basic costing knowledge (GST, transport, landed cost).
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and ERP/POS systems.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement (retail or home décor background will be an added advantage).

Location: Koramangala 4th Block

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
