We are hiring a Category / Purchase Assistant to support our supermarket’s purchase and category management team. The role involves assisting in procurement, vendor coordination, stock planning, and ensuring smooth category-wise operations for Kapra Daily Supermarket.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing purchase orders for various categories (FMCG, groceries, fruits & vegetables, etc.).
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
Maintain purchase records, invoices, and stock details.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the purchase manager.
Support in price comparison, vendor negotiations, and market analysis.
Ensure category-wise product availability in all branches.
Work closely with store managers and accounts team for smooth operations.
Requirements:
Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Business, or related field.
Experience in purchase, inventory, or retail operations preferred.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of MS Office / ERP software will be an added advantage.
Willingness to coordinate across multiple branches.
