Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors for raw
materials, components, consumables, and services.
Request quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize
orders.
Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for timely delivery in coordination
with production planning.
Maintain proper documentation of procurement activities including POs,
invoices, GRNs, and vendor agreements.
Monitor and manage inventory levels in coordination with the store and
production teams.
Ensure timely procurement to avoid any delays in production or operations.
Track and evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and
service.
Collaborate with the accounts department for payment processing and vendor
reconciliation.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and audit
requirements.
Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and alternate suppliers for
critical materials.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management,
preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Sound knowledge of purchasing practices, supply chain processes, and
inventory control.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle,
or Tally.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,390.87 - ₹30,740.89 per month
