Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Purchase Executive to join our dynamic procurement team. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to delivery and inventory management, critical to operational efficiency. This role requires securing high-quality goods and services at competitive terms, ensuring production and operational needs are met without interruption.

Key Responsibilities

- *Supplier Sourcing & Management*:

- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and resolve quality or service issues.

- *Negotiation & Cost Control*:

- Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and payment terms for optimal value.

- Seek cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality or delivery.

- *Procurement & Order Management*:

- Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders per company policy.

- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials/services for production/project schedules.

- Maintain records of transactions (purchase orders, delivery confirmations, invoices).

- *Inventory & Supply Chain Collaboration*:

- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts, minimize carrying costs.

- Collaborate with production, planning, logistics teams for demand forecast and procurement alignment.

- *Market Intelligence & Compliance*:

- Stay informed about market trends, commodity pricing, product innovations.

- Ensure procurement activities adhere to regulations and company policies.

Key Skills Required

- *Essential Experience*: Furniture or interior purchase experience is essential.

- Proven experience in supplier management and negotiation.

- Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles.

- Proficiency with procurement software/ERP systems.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- High attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
