Job Summary:

SP DESIGN DEVELOPERS LLP is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant (Fresher) to support our procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to learn the fundamentals of purchasing and supply chain in a fast-paced construction environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience in vendor coordination, order processing, and inventory support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Purchase Department in daily procurement activities
• Collect quotations from suppliers and help with basic price comparisons
• Help prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs)
• Maintain and update purchase records and vendor databases
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials
• Coordinate with site supervisors and storekeepers to understand material needs
• Support in verifying invoices and delivery notes
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of procurement records
• Assist in day-to-day administrative and support tasks in the department

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Willingness to learn procurement and inventory systems
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and handle tasks under supervision

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

• Knowledge of basic purchase documentation (PO, invoice, delivery challan)
• Exposure to ERP/Tally (if any)
• Interest in construction materials and logistics
