- The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services to ensure timely availability at the most competitive prices without compromising quality. The role involves vendor management, purchase order management, and maintaining cost efficiency in line with organizational policies.
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts.
- Ensure procurement of raw materials, consumables, equipment, and services as per requirement.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and reliable vendors.
- Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery timelines, and compliance.
- Resolve any vendor-related disputes or issues.
- Purchase Operations
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Verify and process invoices with coordination from accounts and stores.
- Inventory & Cost Control
- Work closely with the stores and production team to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor purchase budgets and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all purchases adhere to company policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and update management on procurement status.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance.

- Ability to work with ERP / procurement software (SAP / Tally / etc.).
