Purchase Executive

Job description:

We are a swimming pool company in the U.A.E. looking for a well-organized Purchase Executive with at least 2 years of UAE experience in a construction company to join our team.

As the Purchase Executive, you will handle tasks assigned by the Director, including conducting research on potential vendors and suppliers, inspecting goods, and updating records. You should be able to negotiate pricing and process orders using FACTS ERP software. To succeed in this role, you must be able to multitask, evaluate products and vendors, and demonstrate excellent negotiation skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product research and source new suppliers and vendors.
• Source materials, goods, products, and services, and negotiate the best cost-effective contracts and deals.
• Perform inventory inspections and reorder supplies and stock as necessary.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on emerging trends and business opportunities.
• Inspect stock and report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
• Update and maintain records of all orders, payments, and stock received.
• Coordinate with the delivery team and follow up on delays or rescheduled orders.
• Establish professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
• Ensure all stock is properly packaged and delivered to the correct location on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position within a construction company (experience in swimming pool construction is preferred).
• Proficiency in relevant management software programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to identify market trends and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to follow client specifications.
• Strong networking and time management skills.
