Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Float enquiries, collect quotations, and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per company procedures.
- Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and follow up with vendors.
- Coordinate with stores, accounts, and production teams for material requirements.
- Maintain proper records of all purchase transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Review supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor list.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial or fabrication-related purchase.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ERP / Tally / Excel for maintaining purchase records.
- Familiar with technical specifications of materials (preferred).
- Ability to handle multiple purchase requirements simultaneously.
