Role Overview:

The Purchase Executive at Citara Plex Pvt. Ltd. will oversee the procurement of goods and services, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and timeliness. This role involves building supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, managing inventory levels, and collaborating across departments to meet the company's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency and supply chain reliability.
  • Forecast demand for products and services to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
  • Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Operational Management:
  • Manage the purchase process, including requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate procurement to prevent disruptions in operations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
  • Cost Control and Budgeting:
  • Maintain procurement budgets and track expenses to avoid overspending.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations in all purchasing activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Cost savings achieved through procurement strategies.
  • Supplier delivery reliability and quality performance.
  • Inventory turnover ratio and stock optimization.
  • Compliance with procurement policies and budgets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
