- Conduct thorough market research to identify and engage new suppliers and vendors.
- Source materials, products, and services from diverse vendors to meet business needs.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing to secure cost-effective deals and contracts.
- Oversee inventory checks and coordinate the replenishment of stock as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, payments, and stock received.
- Participate in product launches, industry events, and networking opportunities to stay informed about market trends.
- Assess and shortlist potential vendors based on quality, reliability, and pricing.
- Analyze supplier proposals and compare offers to ensure the best value.
- Prepare procurement reports, including cost analysis and vendor performance reviews.
- Track stock levels and place orders in a timely manner to avoid shortages or overstock.
- Ensure all stock is properly packaged and delivered to the right locations efficiently.
- Work closely with logistics teams to follow up on delayed shipments or rescheduled orders.
- Attend industry trade shows and vendor locations to explore new supply opportunities.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance to maintain quality and efficiency in procurement operations.
