Key Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, service, support, reliability, and reputation.
- Obtain and review quotations; negotiate price and terms with vendors.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor their status to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Work closely with inventory, accounts, and operations departments.
- Track stock levels and coordinate reordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, shortages, or quality concerns.
Short Key Notes:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Proven experience (1–2 years) in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally,).
- Ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
