Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team at our Kolkata corporate office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor development and management, ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials and services that meet our manufacturing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Development: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Procurement: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services.
• Cost Management: Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing; negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that purchased materials meet required standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by coordinating with production schedules and forecasting needs.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and finance, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement or vendor management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
