Roles and Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Purchasing

· Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers.

· Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts.

· Ensure timely procurement of materials, products, and services as per requirements.

2. Vendor Management

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.

· Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency.

· Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and pricing.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting

· Compare quotations and conduct cost analysis to ensure best value.

· Monitor purchase budgets and control procurement costs.

· Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.

4. Inventory Coordination

· Coordinate with stores/warehouse to maintain optimum inventory levels.

· Avoid overstocking and stock shortages through proper planning.

· Ensure accurate documentation and stock records.

5. Quality & Compliance

· Ensure purchased materials meet required quality standards and specifications.

· Verify invoices, delivery challahs, and goods received notes (GRN).

· Comply with company policies and statutory requirements.

6. Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain proper records of purchases, contracts, and supplier details.

· Prepare purchase reports, vendor performance reports, and MIS.

· Coordinate with accounts for invoice processing and payments.

7. Internal Coordination

· Work closely with production, stores, accounts, and other departments.

· Support audits by providing required procurement documentation.

· Resolve procurement-related issues and discrepancies.

8. Market Research

· Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers.

· Stay updated on industry best practices and procurement strategies.

Job Requirement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
