Job Summary

Safety Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Purchase Executive from the manufacturing industry to manage procurement activities efficiently. The role involves sourcing quality materials at competitive prices while ensuring timely availability to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, and services
• Source, evaluate, and develop vendors in line with company requirements
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, credit terms, and contracts
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and track order status
• Coordinate closely with production, stores, quality, and accounts teams
• Ensure timely material availability as per production planning
• Monitor inventory levels and help optimize stock carrying costs
• Maintain accurate purchase records, MIS reports, and documentation
• Evaluate vendor performance on quality, cost, and delivery
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of purchase and supply chain processes in a manufacturing environment
• Effective negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of inventory management and material planning
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or a related field
• Purchase or supply chain certification will be an added advantage

Experience Requirement

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Purchase Executive
• Mandatory experience in the manufacturing industry

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Umargam or nearby locations
• Immediate joiners or short notice period preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
