AreaTasks / DutiesVendor / Supplier ManagementIdentify and evaluate vendors/suppliers; negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts; maintain good relationships; monitor supplier performance.Purchase Order ProcessingReceive purchase requests; prepare purchase orders (POs); ensure correct specification, quantity, delivery schedule; send POs to vendors; follow up until confirmation.Stock & Inventory ManagementMonitor inventory levels; check stock availability; plan purchases to avoid stock-outs; maintain inventory records and reports.CoordinationLiaise with internal teams (accounts, warehouse, operations, quality) to ensure timely processing of orders, delivery, and payments.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices; ensure compliance with company policies; check quality / specification standards.Vendor Invoices & PaymentsCoordinate with accounts to process vendor invoices; ensure timely payment; handle discrepancies.Logistics / Shipment OversightTrack delivery status; follow
