Job Title: Purchase Executive
Experience: 2-5 Years
Location: Bareja, Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors/suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure timely approval and processing.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse for requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with suppliers on pending orders.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
  • Coordinate with accounts for vendor payments and invoice processing.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and ensure competitive sourcing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, electrical or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement or purchase (freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of market trends and procurement best practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
