Job Title: Purchase Executive / Sr. Purchase Engineer

SCM personnel is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process of an organization, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating and optimizing all logistical aspects from procurement of raw materials to the final delivery of finished products.

Experience: 2-5 Years of Relevant Experience

Qualification:

Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any equivalent.

Bachelor's of Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical or any equivalent.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

1. Procurement & Purchasing:

o Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet the company's operational requirements.

o Ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials, consumables, and other

supplies as per production schedules.

o Work closely with inventory control to determine and manage material needs.

2. Supplier Coordination:

o Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and resolve any delays

or issues.

o Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure a seamless supply chain.

3. Supplier Management:

o Maintain a comprehensive supplier database and keep records of purchase history

and supplier performance.

o Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure compliance with technical specifications and

cost targets.

4. Documentation & Compliance:

o Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies

and standards.

o Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits and traceability.

5. Cost Optimization:

o Assist in cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for savings in materials

and services procurement.

6. Reporting & Analysis:

o Generate purchase and inventory reports using advanced Excel functions (pivot

tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

o Monitor and report key metrics such as supplier performance, delivery accuracy, and

cost variances.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration:

o Coordinate with the production, planning, and quality assurance teams to meet

operational requirements.

o Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize purchasing processes and

supplier relationships.

Skills & Expertise:

- Procurement Knowledge: Experience in purchasing, supplier coordination, and supply chain operations.

- Excel Proficiency: Strong command of MS Excel, including advanced functions like pivot

tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.

- Communication & Follow-ups: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for supplier follow-ups and cross-functional coordination.

- Organization & Time Management: Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.

- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to achieve cost-effective procurement while

maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
