Key Responsibilities1. Procurement & Sourcing

• Identify and source suppliers for gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, and finished jewelry.
• Evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and credit terms with suppliers.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials required for production and retail.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels and reorder materials when necessary.
• Coordinate with the store manager and production team to forecast material requirements.
• Monitor stock movement and generate purchase orders accordingly.

3. Quality Control

• Inspect raw materials (gold purity, diamond quality, gemstone grades) before purchase.
• Ensure all items meet company quality standards and certification requirements.
• Coordinate with certified labs for hallmarking and diamond grading when required.

4. Vendor Relationship Management

• Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality or delivery delays.
• Maintain vendor records and update them periodically.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare purchase orders, invoices, and GRN (Goods Receipt Notes).
• Ensure compliance with GST, hallmarking laws, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits.

6. Market Research

• Monitor market trends, gold prices, diamond rates, and seasonal demand.
• Identify new sources and innovations in jewelry materials and designs.
• Support management in cost estimation and pricing strategies.

7. Coordination

• Work closely with design, production, and sales teams to align purchases with business needs.
• Assist in new product development by sourcing unique materials and components.

Skills Required

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of gold, diamonds, and gemstone quality parameters
• Good understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes
• Vendor and inventory management
• Data-entry accuracy and experience with ERP/POS systems
• Market awareness and analytical skills

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Experience in jewelry industry (1–5 years typically required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
