Hiring AVP/VP - Purchase for MP Developers located at Pallavaram , Chennai

JOB DESCRIPTION

To leads strategic sourcing and purchasing for property development/management, focusing on cost savings, quality, and timely acquisition of materials (CAPEX, OPEX, R&M) for projects, managing large vendor bases, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and mentoring teams to support business goals in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

· Strategy & Leadership: Develop & implement overall procurement strategy, lead the procurement team, set KPIs, and drive innovation for cost efficiency.

· Sourcing & Negotiation: Oversee strategic sourcing, RFPs, complex negotiations for high-value contracts (materials, services, property), ensuring best value and terms.

· Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong supplier/vendor relationships, conduct appraisals, and manage performance (quality, delivery, ethics).

· Project Integration: Collaborate with Development, Design, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.

· Budget & Cost Control: Manage procurement budgets, forecast needs, analyze market trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

· Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal/regulatory standards, and mitigate supply chain risks.

· Process Improvement: Standardize procedures, implement procurement technologies, and drive efficiency across the function.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
