Purchase Manager

Job Summary:

The Purchase Manager is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, packaging, and other goods necessary for the FMCG production and distribution processes. This role involves vendor management, cost control, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products to maintain seamless operations and inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Planning:
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production and distribution.
• Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials at competitive prices. Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.

• Cost Optimization:

Continuously analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to manage procurement schedules and avoid overstocking or stockouts. Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure all purchased goods meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Liaise with production, logistics, and finance departments to streamline procurement processes and support operational goals.Assess risks related to supply disruptions and develop contingency plans.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
