The Purchasing Manager – Construction is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for construction projects. This role ensures that all purchases are cost-effective, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time to meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the construction supply market, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of construction project timelines and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute purchasing strategies for construction materials, tools, and subcontractor services.

· Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

· Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and estimators to forecast material needs and schedules.

· Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.

· Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply delays or quality issues.

· Evaluate and onboard suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

· Monitor market trends, material price fluctuations, and availability.

· Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support multiple ongoing and future projects.

· Ensure all procurement activities align with company budgets, project timelines, and legal requirements.

· Collaborate with the accounting team to manage invoices and payment schedules.

· Maintain a database of preferred vendors and material costs for future project planning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
